Session 6: Unit Enrolments

This page will outline the topics included in the Unit Enrolments session.

Overview

The session focuses on unit enrolments, all the management workflows related, and the key terms and concepts relevant to the government reporting mandate. As we progress along with the session you will be given an opportunity to add a base and scheduled units record in Paradigm and enrol students to the scheduled units you’ve created. We will also equip you with the knowledge and skills to confidently manage unit enrolment records in Paradigm which would include but are not limited to adding, updating, setting payments, grading changes, and using properly the β€œSelect Action to perform on Units” menu for bulk updates or processes.

By the end of this training session, you will learn how to create and manage unit enrolments.

Learning outcomes

  • Describe and discuss the basics of unit enrolments, and how all the terms and concepts associated with it relate to other data in Paradigm and to the government reporting mandate.

  • Practice and demonstrate the process of adding a new base and scheduled unit enrolments in Paradigm.

  • Create records with students enrolled on the newly created unit enrolments.

  • Manage the unit enrolments record (add, search, update, edit, delete, etc.).

  • Manage to assess properly the correct action to choose under the β€œSelect Action to perform on Units” menu against the bulk process being asked or required.
