The above diagram talks about how a student's result of a unit enrolment can be a product of a scheduled unit's sessions and assessments.
Let's take a look at the basics of Student Result or Academic Records in Paradigm.
Defines the academic grade of the student in a particular unit of study. The student result in Paradigm for a unit of study can be a result of the set assessments specified in the scheduled unit.
In Paradigm, you can add the final grade of a student's unit enrolment in a lot of ways depending on how you are using Paradigm's possible data relationships.
To add a student result to the system the following records are prerequisites: Provider, Base Units, Scheduled Units, Course and Unit Enrolments. If assessments are added against a Scheduled Unit, it can be used to define the student's unit enrolment result for that specifically scheduled unit enrolment.

To summarise the diagram in relation to the student's academic records: Note that the Sessions (attendance) can also be a part of the Academic record story of a student's unit enrolment. If the course is governed by a Course Outline, the unit enrolment result contributes to the overall course progression.
