Change Event

This page will discuss the implications when you change in Rapla an already synced event to Paradigm.

Overview

Changing an event in Rapla and resyncing it to Paradigm can have implications for your previously synced sessions and enrolments in Paradigm. This knowledge article will provide you with all the possible scenarios – its level of impact in all the various changes you can make to an already synced Paradigm Session/Event.

Data Entry Notes

  • Deleting Paradigm Sessions/Events in Rapla which were already imported to Paradigm previously will not be deleted automatically in Paradigm when you do a resync. If the sessions are no longer applicable, they have to be manually deleted in Paradigm.

  • Editing some(NONE to LOW impact changes, see below scenarios for more details) of the Paradigm Sessions/Events' details in Rapla and doing a resync would edit or update the existing or previously imported sessions in Paradigm.

  • Deleting a previously imported Paradigm Session/Event/Appointments to Paradigm and deleting them in Rapla to either create a new session/event/appointments (changes are either the same or totally different from the previously imported sessions) on the same Scheduled Unit will add the new sessions created to the existing sessions previously imported in Paradigm.

  • It is highly recommended that your Rapla sessions should only be imported until everything is finalised.

WARNING:

Deleting sessions in Paradigm is not advisable especially if there are already enrolments involved. Contact our Support Team if you have any concerns before deleting sessions.
