Impact: NONE Change (1)

This page will discuss the implications to a specific change in Rapla you will make to an event already imported to Paradigm.

Overview

Changes in the minimum and maximum participants, group and class number, session type, and the start and end times of all recurring events with or without enrolments

Resync Status

  • event_id: No Change

  • appointment_id: No Change

  • Message: Success

Paradigm Implications

With or without enrolments on the scheduled unit from your previously synced sessions, changing the fields specified above will not impact any of the Paradigm data. All fields will be updated accordingly.

Sessions have been auto-updated to reflect the change having a new start date of the event, both Rapla and Paradigm updated the correct x times of recurrence correctly.

When changing the class number, it will also automatically change the students' timetable who were originally enrolled in the original/previously imported session.

NOTE:

For Group Number and Class Number changes, as long as the design of your class and group numbers are not changed, e.g. you havenโ€™t added new events with a new group and class number values (which requires a student to choose from the sessions in the Course Plan) in addition to the existing ones, the implications above will apply. The above implications are true only when you edit the existing group and class number values, e.g. swapping the class numbers or group values.
