# Customise the Calendar Space

This page will enumerate and discuss the options available to customise the calendar space.

## Overview

The look and feel of your calendar space can be customised by the number of grids per hour, the white space for your start and end time, disable colours on events and resources, exceptions indicators, etc. Refer to the table below for a complete list of options available to customise your calendar space.

## Customisable Options

The space on your Main Calendar View can be customised by the following. Refer to the Rapla Main Calendar View section [below ](#rapla-main-calendar)for a sample screenshot of each option mentioned in the table below.

Rows per hour</td><td>the maximum number you can set for the number of rows is 12 and a minimum of 1 row</td></tr><tr><td><mark style="color:green;"><strong>B</strong></mark>. Start and End time</td><td>sets the white space of the Calendar view with the Start and End time range</td></tr><tr><td><mark style="color:green;"><strong>C</strong></mark>. Color</td><td>disable or only show colors on Events or Resources, or both</td></tr><tr><td><mark style="color:green;"><strong>D</strong></mark>. Display exceptions in calendar</td><td>will add another layer of display (<span data-gb-custom-inline data-tag="emoji" data-code="2716">✖️</span>) on an event if this preference is enabled</td></tr><tr><td><mark style="color:green;"><strong>E</strong></mark>. Events not matched by filter</td><td>how do you want to set to all the other events that do not match when doing <a href="/home/rapla/get-started/navigate-the-interface/section-2-top-menu-bar/apply-filters.md">Filters</a>: Transparent or Not Visible</td></tr><tr><td><mark style="color:green;"><strong>F</strong></mark>. Day 1 of the week</td><td>set the displayed Day 1 of the week. By default, it's set as Monday</td></tr><tr><td><mark style="color:green;"><strong>G</strong></mark>. Days in Weekview</td><td>show how many Days in Week view. By default, it's set to show all 7 days of the week (Monday - Sunday)</td></tr><tr><td><mark style="color:green;"><strong>H</strong></mark>. Minimum block width</td><td>set the Minimum block width. You can expand the block width to a maximum of 250%</td></tr><tr><td><mark style="color:green;"><strong>I</strong></mark>. ## Workflow

1. Navigate to the Top Bar Menus. Select **Edit** > **Options**.&#x20;

2\. A pop-up window will appear for you to edit your preferences. Select the **Calendar** option. Refer to the sections [above ](#customisable-options)for the description of each option.

&#x20;Edit the required Calendar View change and click the **Save** button to apply the change.
