# Prepare Rapla Events

## Overview

The fields (required for a successful sync) in your Paradigm Sessions created in Rapla must have matching Scheduled Unit records in Paradigm. It is highly recommended that you review the data entry in Rapla before you attempt to sync the data. Some of the required and critical fields with data are listed in the table below for review. All these fields are also mentioned on the [Paradigm Session](https://docs.silverband.com.au/home/rapla/create-events/choose-an-event-type/paradigm-session) page.

## **Required Fields for Review**

The first image below represents the field names in Rapla as well as its equivalent field names in Paradigm (highlighted in red box) when creating a new Event (i.e. Paradigm session).

The table below the image shows you the fields in Rapla match to the fields in the [Scheduled Units](https://docs.silverband.com.au/paradigm-knowledge-base/academic-scheduling/workflows/manage-scheduled-units/add-a-scheduled-unit) (you already created prior to synchronising Rapla sessions) in Paradigm for the sync to be successful, *see* Search Scheduled Units knowledge article to double-check if the scheduled units have already been created in Paradigm*.*
