The fields (required for a successful sync) in your Paradigm Sessions created in Rapla must have matching Scheduled Unit records in Paradigm. It is highly recommended that you review the data entry in Rapla before you attempt to sync the data. Some of the required and critical fields with data are listed in the table below for review. All these fields are also mentioned on the Paradigm Session page.
The first image below represents the field names in Rapla as well as its equivalent field names in Paradigm (highlighted in red box) when creating a new Event (i.e. Paradigm session).
The table below the image shows you the fields in Rapla match to the fields in the Scheduled Units (you already created prior to synchronising Rapla sessions) in Paradigm for the sync to be successful, see Search Scheduled Units knowledge article to double-check if the scheduled units have already been created in Paradigm.
Unit Code
Unit Code (s)
Your allocated unique Unit Code to identify a unit of study (Scheduled Unit). MUST be the same coding in Paradigm.
Unit Name
Scheduled Unit Name
Institution allocated unique unit names to identify units of study
This field should not necessarily be the same as the unit name youβve coded in Paradigm. You can customise the unit name in Rapla if need be to help in your data entry.
e.g. βEntertainment Since 1945β in Paradigm and βEntertainment Since 1945 Group 1β in Rapla to emphasise the grouping.
Campus
Home Institution
Should match the Provider record in Paradigm where the scheduled unit/s to be imported are/is under.
Session Type
Lecture/Tutorial/Workshop
Delivery Mode
On Campus/Online/Other
Make sure that there is a matching recorded scheduled unit in Paradigm with the same delivery mode as set in Rapla.
If a unit has one or more delivery modes, create a new scheduled unit for each delivery mode in Paradigm before you attempt to synchronise.
Department
Faculty/Department Name
Should be within the Scheduled Unitβs Start Date and End Date fields
1 Jun 2019 repeating frequency, any exceptions
Make sure that the dates here are WITHIN or THE SAME as the dates recorded in Paradigm for your semester (Time Period) start and end dates.
Your Business or Institutionβs Name or a specific location of one of your branches if you have multiple campuses. This field will only be a red flag if you have multiple campuses.
