A unit is a term used interchangeably with module, subject, unit of study or competency which describes the learning outcomes and accreditation information for units that form one or more courses. A unit becomes a scheduled unit when it is offered with all the details on how it is offered, dates, delivery mode, location, etc.
The Units menu is where the Base Units, Scheduled Units, Sessions, and Unit Fees are maintained. Students need to be enrolled on a Course (of Study) before they can enrol into units. Fees need to be added either to the scheduled unit or to the fees matrix before enrolling students into Scheduled Units.
