With all the Base Course(s) added to the system β make sure that all the necessary details required from Paradigm, your institution, and the government are entered correctly if you are at the stage where you are ready to offer your course(s), you can refer to the workflow below for the instructions on how to add a new course offer or Scheduled Program in Paradigm.
BE ADVISED:
The fields you defined when adding a new Course Offer (as described in the table here) will be inherited or reflected in the Course Enrolment record of the student who will be enrolled on the scheduled program.
If in the future you decide to edit some field values to any of your existing scheduled programs, the changes you will make will NOT be reflected on any of the ALREADY-created course enrolments. The changes you made will only reflect on the new course enrolment records created after you save your changes.
Prior to following the instructions below, the following are assumed to be true:
The Base Course record that you want to offer or schedule for the students to enrol already exists in Paradigm, see Add a Base Course.
The Time Period has been configured properly, see Time Periods: Add a Scheduled Program Requirements
Check for any existing scheduled program records in the system to avoid duplicates. To avoid duplicates, it is highly recommended that you search first if there are any existing scheduled programs in the system already, with the course name, and student cohort (same start and end dates, etc.) that you are planning to schedule or offer, see Search a Scheduled Program.
Make sure that the scheduled program that you are about to offer has different cohort criteria from what is currently being offered. Check and compare the fields. Proceed with scheduling or offering the course if you find no duplicates.
Choose Courses > Course Offers > Add New Course Offer menus on the side. Click the NEW SCHEDULED PROGRAM button.
After clicking the NEW SCHEDULED PROGRAM button, go to the SCHEDULED PROGRAM EDIT section and enter all the available and required fields. Refer to the Record Type section Scheduled Programs for a description of each field.
NOTE:
The fields you will find are all the possible fields you can add or use when adding a scheduled course or program in Paradigm. Some fields are hidden upon your request during the onboarding process. You have the option to hide the fields that you think are not applicable to your business or institution's needs, see Edit Form Fields.
After filling out all the required and available fields for the Course record that you want to schedule or offer, click the SAVE DETAILS button.

SUCCESS:
Once you save the Course Offer details, they will be visible in the Student Course Enrolment Screen within the SCHEDULED PROGRAM LIST section. Students can then proceed to enrol in these courses. If you're using the Online Applicant Portal, the offered programs will also be accessible for applicants to enrol in.
Right after adding the Scheduled Program/Course Offer, you can then proceed to the following workflows as required and as necessary:
Add Scheduled Units - If you haven't added the Scheduled Units in the system that make up the Course Offer/Scheduled Program, refer to the Add a Scheduled Unit Workflow to proceed with adding Scheduled Units in Paradigm.
Link Scheduled Units to a Scheduled Program - refer to the next workflow
Enrol Students to the Scheduled Program/Offer - To enrol a student in the Scheduled Program, refer to the Enrol Students in Courses or Scheduled Programs via the SCHEDULED PROGRAM LIST section workflow.
If you want to link your scheduled units to the scheduled program that you just created above for you to enrol the students in one go (Scheduled Program + all linked Scheduled Units), refer to the Link Scheduled Units to a Scheduled Program Workflow.
