This workflow is intended to provide a faster way of transferring course enrolments and unit enrolments from one Student record to another that is NOT government-reportable. This workflow does carbon copy the original course from one Student to the other Student's record which leads to duplicate submission to the government perspective.
Decide which student number will be the RECEIVER, and which student number has the course enrolment records you want to migrate as the SOURCE.
Load the SOURCE student record, see Search a Student record.
Once the SOURCE student record has now been loaded, choose Student > Course Enrolment > Course on the side menu. It will then load the COURSE ENROLMENT LIST section of your SOURCE student.
In the COURSE ENROLMENT LIST section, click the ACTIONS button against the Course Enrolment that you want to transfer. Select the Transfer Course To Person option.
After selecting the Transfer Course To Person button, scroll down the page to go to the STUDENT SEARCH section and search for your RECEIVER Student record. In the case that Paradigm finds more than one student that matches with your search criteria, a list of students will appear, and you will need to choose the correct button to click, to transfer the course enrolment to that student.
Verify the RECEIVER student's details and then click the TRANSFER TO STUDENT button, to transfer the Course Enrolment record.
SUCCESS:
After completing these steps, the RECEIVER student record decided above, will now contain the SOURCE Course Enrolment AND any of its associated SOURCE Unit Enrolment records.
