Check the Course Plan layout and structure using a demo Student who is enrolled on the Course. If you want to make changes to the content of the Course Plan, refer to the Customise Course Plan Interface workflows.
To rearrange the Units in the Course Plan, refer to the Grid Positioning section for more information on how the Course Plan grid positioning works and go back to the Course Outline and edit the Display Code values of the unit accordingly.
NOTE:
By default, Paradigm blocks the enrolment to units with a Course Start Date that is still in the future. Contact our Support Team if you want to allow future enrolment to Units.
Check the following settings and requirements prior to opening the Course Plan for enrolment:
Time Period Configurations Periods: UNIT_ENROLMENT and ENROLMENT_PERIOD are set, see Time Periods
Review the Scheduled Units' Max Participants field to ensure it exceeds the total of currently enrolled students and expected enrolments for the Scheduled Unit.
Scheduled Units with Sessions (if using sessions) are already created, see Manage Sessions
Check the following fields in the Base Course record accordingly, see Edit a Base Course record:
Students are already enrolled on the Course, see Enrol Students in Courses or Scheduled Programs
If you have a condition set for Students who are not allowed to enrol via the Course Plan, e.g. Outstanding Fees, raise a HelpDesk ticket, see FAQ: Is there a way to block Students with Outstanding Fees from enrolling in the Course Plan?
If you want to specify the time when your Course Plan will open, e.g. 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM only, raise a HelpDesk ticket with your specified time, else, Paradigm will set 9:00 AM-5:00 PM as the default time.
Enrolling via the Course Plan menu comes in three different options. Depending on how you are using Paradigm in your business or institution. Refer to the following scenarios on how enrolling via the Course Plan menu can be done:
If you are using the Online Applicant Portal, the students can proceed to enrol via the Course Plan menu once they are already accepted to the Course and are provided access to the Student Portal. Refer to the whole process of students applying to a Course until Unit Enrolments in the Online Applicant Portal on this knowledge article: Using the Applicant Portal. In Step 6 - [Optional] Unit Selection, you will see the workflow on unit selection.
If you are not using the Online Applicant Portal - but are using the Student Portal, after you have sent an offer and enrol the students into their course, once they have access to the portal, they can proceed with enrolling into units via the Course Plan menu: Student Portal: Course Plan
If you are not using both the Online Applicant Portal and Student Portal and only creating Course Outline to guide your staff with the enrolment via the Course Plan. The staff can load each student's Course Enrolment record that they want to enrol into units. Refer to the normal workflow as an administrator when enrolling into units via the Course Plan.
