Error: Could not enrol student into unit. The EFTSL value is not valid for reporting via TCSI.

This error occurs during Unit Enrolment.

Resolution

At the Unit level, the unit is missing the undergraduate and postgraduate EFTSL values. Simply go to the unit edit screen and edit the EFTSL values.

1. Load the Base Unit record of the Scheduled Unit that is having that error, see Search a Base Unit record

2. Once the Base Unit record is loaded, edit the following fields under the EDIT HEIMS DETAILS section:

   • EFTSL Load (UGrad)

   • EFTSL Load (PGrade)

Refer to this section on how to calculate EFTSL.

add the EFTSL Load and save

1. Click the SAVE UNIT button to save your changes.

2. Load each Scheduled Unit that is currently being offered and click the SAVE SCHEDULED UNIT button to apply your changes.

Try enrolling the Students in the Scheduled Unit again, if the error persists, raise a HelpDesk ticket.
