TCSI Error Code - 10498

Attempt to delete a verified Tax File Number (E416) that has a linked HELP Loan Amount (E558) of greater than 0.00.

TCSI Error Description

Please check the Tax File Number (E416) being deleted and any unit enrolments linked to the Student (UID8) with a HELP Loan Amount (E558). A Tax File Number (E416) cannot be deleted where it is linked to an active Unit Enrolment (UID16) record for where the HELP Loan Amount (E558) is greater than 0.00.

Error Logic

If a Tax File Number (E416) for a Student (UID8) has passed verification testing and if the Student (UID8) has any Unit Enrolment records with a HELP Loan Amount (E558) of greater than 0.0, then Tax File Number (E416) must not be deleted.

Paradigm Error Resolution

This error occurs when attempting to submit a student record to TCSI for the first time from within Paradigm where the record does not have a TFN, but where the student was reported to TSCI from outside of Paradigm with a TFN. The remedy is to enter the student TFN within Paradigm, prior to attempting another submission of the record via TCSI, see Edit Student Details.

In situations where a student had submitted data to TCSI outside of Paradigm, and if certain values have become outdated (retired), please make necessary adjustments to the TFN directly within the TCSI Data Entry portal. Address any other errors in that portal before proceeding to save the student's record in Paradigm.
