# TCSI Error Code - 10831

### Invalid code value in Residential Address Country Code ([E658](https://www.tcsisupport.gov.au/element/658))

## TCSI Error Description <a href="#tcsi-error-description" id="tcsi-error-description"></a>

The Residential Address Country Code ([E658](https://www.tcsisupport.gov.au/element/658)) has been reported at the country group (two-digit) level.

> **Error Logic**
>
> If the Residential Address Country Code (E658) is not blank (null), then the last 2 characters of the Residential Address Country Code (E658) must not be '00'.

## Paradigm Error Resolution <a href="#paradigm-error-resolution" id="paradigm-error-resolution"></a>

This error occurs when the student has been reported with a residential address country code that reflects a geographic region or group of countries, rather than a specific country. For example, reporting the student as being born in the United Kingdom will result in this error if the Post Code of the address is expected to be in Wales.&#x20;

To edit the student's contact information, refer to the following instructions:

1. Navigate to the **Student** > **Student Details** > **Edit Contact Info** menus on the side.&#x20;
2. Select the **Billing** address type under the CONTACT DETAILS section.
3. In the Edit screen, update the country of birth to a valid country name, and then attempt to re-report the record by saving the address.
