I need custom data in Excel so I can present some summary data to my colleagues

Custom Data in Excel and Present Summary Data

You can do this by using the Report Builder feature in Paradigm. Using a report builder you are able to extract data from all areas of the system, see Build a Report

Is there a report that has the Loan Status field or column?

Report with the Loan Status Field

You can use the TCSI Student Loan Details Base Report in Report Builder using the field or column name called β€œLoan Status”, see Base Reports

How can we change the Name and Signature of the transcript?

Transcript Name and Signature Change

Please raise a Helpdesk ticket that contains the new signature image file, and also advise the details of the new person's name and position title. We need the ticket as an authorisation for us to make the changes as requested. Please also attach a sample transcript that you have produced, so that we can confirm which template is to be updated.

To update our logo, what image format should we use?

Reports Logo Format

We normally use jpg or png for website logo content. If you are working from a vector or high-fidelity design file then it should be easy for you to export that as a png with a high DPI to ensure the image is crisp. Note that for rendered content png is the better format as it supports transparent content and has less compression than jpg.

What do we need to update our document/report templates in the system?

Update Document/Report Templates Requirements

The reports are jasper report files. The easiest way to let us know the differences is to scan the reports you want to change and upload them in the raised Helpdesk tickets outlining on the scanned doc what needs to be changed compared to the current one.

How can I allow a staff member access a specific report in Report Builder?

Allow Access to Staff Members a Specific Report

Check the saved report's allowable Permission Levels by loading the saved report and checking the Permission field. Assess the design of the report and the data or information involved if you can include the Staff Permission Level. If yes, select Staff Member Access to be included in the Permission field. NOTE that would make the report available to all users who have Staff permission.

If the above does not apply, you assess the staff member whom you want to access that specific report - if you can change or give them a higher permission level, see Assign a Permission Level to a Contact. NOTE that the staff member can now access the menus and other system features made available to that specific Permission or Access Level that you just assigned them, see Edit System Side Menus.

What is the difference between Save and Print Report and Preview Report?

Save and Print Report vs Preview Report Buttons

If an eduProgramEnrolmentId or Course Enrolment Id was utilised in generating the report, clicking the SAVE AND PRINT REPORT button will be saved against the Course Enrolment. If it was generated using a Student Number (or student Party Id), it will be saved under the Student record.

The PREVIEW REPORT button generates a downloadable PDF copy of the report.

Can I switch off the selection in the Filter Clause section of Report Builder?

Report Builder Filter Clause Section: Turn Off | Disable the Selections | Dropdowns

The selection lists are dynamically generated whenever users require a pre-populated list, eliminating the need for manual entry of values.

Disabling this feature to allow manual input is unnecessary as there is no compelling reason to do so. Once the report is created and saved, further user interaction with the filter is unnecessary. Therefore, manually typing the values offers no additional benefit compared to selecting them from the list.

To set values for multiple-item conditions, users can simply hold the control key and click on multiple items in the dropdown list.
