Error: Could not find Person entity...is still referenced from table"communication_event"

Issue

An error occurs when attempting to delete a student record, and the message is as follows:

This occurs when attempting to permanently delete a student record while there are still associated communication events or emails linked to the student.

Resolution

1. With the Student record loaded, Navigate to Student > Communication menu.

2. Edit each associated email, set the Status to Closed and then SAVE ONLY.

3. Once you have addressed all associated emails for the student, you may proceed to delete the student record permanently.
