# TCSI Error Code - 10210

### The Year Left School ([E572](https://www.tcsisupport.gov.au/element/572)) indicates that the student left school more than 85 years ago. <a href="#the-year-left-school-e572-indicates-that-the-student-left-school-more-than-85-years-ago." id="the-year-left-school-e572-indicates-that-the-student-left-school-more-than-85-years-ago."></a>

## TCSI Error Description <a href="#tcsi-error-description" id="tcsi-error-description"></a>

Please check that the reported Year Left School (E572) is correct for the student.

> **Error Logic**
>
> If the Year Left School (E572) is not blank (null), then the Year Left School (E572) would normally be greater than the current date minus 85 years.

## Paradigm Error Resolution <a href="#paradigm-error-resolution" id="paradigm-error-resolution"></a>

Contrary to the error description, the real cause is where the year left school field has been reported with a blank value. Update the field on the TCSI Student Edit screen prior to attempting another submission of the student record via TCSI.

How to edit the year left school \[E572] field in Paradigm:

1. Load the Student Summary page (*see* [How to search for a student record](/home/paradigm-knowledge-base/student-enrolments/workflows/manage-student-records/search-a-student-record.md)).
2. Go to the TCSI Edit Screen via **Student** > **Course Enrolment** > **Student TCSI Edit** menus on the side.
3. In the TCSI Edit screen, go to the **Semester/Term/Current Address Details** section and look for the (**E572**) **Year left school field**. Choose the appropriate value.
