# Transfer Course Enrolments \[the same student]

This page will provide you with instructions on how to transfer Course Enrolment records for the same Student

## Overview

The intention of this workflow is to provide a faster way of transferring course enrolments and unit enrolments for the same student record that is <mark style="color:red;">**NOT government-reportable**</mark>. This workflow does carbon copy the original course to the new course and an option to include unit enrolments which leads to duplicate submission to the government perspective.

## Workflow

1. Load the Student's record, *see* [Search a Student record](/home/paradigm-knowledge-base/student-enrolments/workflows/manage-student-records/search-a-student-record.md).
2. Add the  NEW Course. You can use the QUICK ADD STUDENT COURSE section, *see* [Enrol Students in Courses](/home/paradigm-knowledge-base/student-enrolments/workflows/manage-course-enrolments/enrol-students-in-courses-or-scheduled-programs.md#quick-add-student-course-section).
3. After adding the NEW Course, choose **Student** > **Course Enrolment** > **Course** > **Transfer Course** on the side menu. Alternatively, just proceed to the TRANSFER STUDENT COURSE section if you are already in the **Student** > **Course Enrolment** > **Course** screen.
4. Select the **Course** the information is being transferred from and the **Course** the information is being transferred to.

If only the Course information is being transferred click the (<mark style="color:green;">**1**</mark>)**TRANSFER COURSE DETAILS ONLY** button. However, if the Course information and all of the Units associated with the course are being transferred click the (<mark style="color:green;">**2**</mark>)**TRANSFER COURSE AND UNIT ENROLMENTS** button.

**NOTE**:

The **TRANSFER COURSE AND UNIT ENROLMENTS** button is disabled if the system detects that the Course Enrolment has been reported to TCSI.
