# Student Portal: Sessions

## Overview

After the students have enrolled in units and their preferred classes/sessions via the [Course Plan](/home/paradigm-knowledge-base/student-enrolments/student-portal/student-portal-menus/student-portal-course-plan.md), for cases when they need to edit their classes/sessions - as long as your business or institution will still allow it, the students via the **Student** > **Session** menu on their Student Portal can still edit their classes/sessions enrolment until you close it.

## Edit Session Configurations

As an administrator, refer to the workflows and more information on how you can control the editing of classes/sessions from students in this knowledge article: [**Edit Session Enrolments: Settings and Configurations**](/home/paradigm-knowledge-base/student-enrolments/workflows/manage-session-enrolments/edit-session-enrolments-as-a-student.md).

## Edit Sessions Workflow

For the instructions and an overview of how the editing of classes/sessions works - refer to the instructions on this workflow: [**Edit Sessions: Workflow**](/home/paradigm-knowledge-base/student-enrolments/workflows/manage-session-enrolments/edit-session-enrolments-as-a-student.md#workflow)

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.silverband.com.au/home/paradigm-knowledge-base/student-enrolments/student-portal/student-portal-menus/student-portal-sessions.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
