Error: Could not add unit information (write failure)

This error occurs when one of the fields entered in adding a new Base Unit record does not match with the system-specified field type.

Resolution

One of the fields you entered is not in the correct format. Revise the fields and ensure the date fields are in the correct format, see Add Base Units for the instructions on how to add a Base Unit record in the system and the Base Units Record Type page for the description of each field.

If you are adding the Base Unit record via Import Wizard or API Integration, make sure that the source file data fields imported have the same field type in Paradigm.
