Step 1 - Register Details

Overview

The applicant’s Registration page serves as the starting point of your communication with your prospective student. When applicants open the Registration Form link, it requires them to enter four of the required fields of their personal details (First Name, Last Name, Birth Date, and Email Address). These fields are the minimum required details to create a student record in Paradigm.

If you're testing as an applicant, log out of the admin account first or use a different browser.

  1. The applicant will arrive at the URL provided by you, normally in this format: <hostname>/php/applicant_register_form.php where they will see the following screen. The applicant will be asked for their First and Last Name, Birth Date, and Email Address.

NOTE:

The INSTRUCTIONS section in the screenshot below is customisable, see Customising the Application Form page for more details.

  1. Paradigm will check and validate the information entered, and it will only allow the applicant to click the REGISTER button once all the fields are confirmed and validated, by showing a green checkmark inside of each field.

  1. After the registration details have been verified, the applicant can click the REGISTER button. The following screenshot offers the applicant further instructions on what to do next in their application process.

  1. Paradigm will send an email (β€œApplicant Portal Registration Email Template”, see Customising Email Templates) to the applicant with all the important details: link to the Applicant Portal, and their login credentials – shortly after the applicant has registered.
