Create a Bulk List via the Search Course menu

This page contains instructions on how to add student course enrolment records to a bulk list via the Student Search Course menu.

Overview

Creating a bulk list of student course enrolment records can simplify the process of performing bulk operations on specific student Course Enrolment records in the system. Two of the common applications of bulk actions via this menu are sending bulk communications and editing course enrolments in bulk.

Workflow

  1. Search for students that you want to add to the bulk list. Choose the Student menu > Search Course.

In the COURSE ENROLMENT SEARCH section, enter your search criteria for your desired list with the following fields: Course Name, Enrolment Status, Home Institution, Funding Type, Start Date, End Date, Contact Mode, Contact Hours, Order By, Agent

You can choose from the available options in the Order By dropbox, to sort the listed results.

  1. Click the SEARCH COURSE ENROLMENTS button after setting up your filters.

After clicking the SEARCH COURSE ENROLMENTS button, a table will appear below with the list of the students depending on the applied filters.

To filter the results further, you can type a keyword in the Filter Box specific to your target list. Once you're satisfied with the result, put a β˜‘οΈcheckmark against the Course Enrolment record that you want to add to the bulk list.

Alternatively, click the checkbox header to select all students in the result table.

  1. Click the ADD ENROLMENTS TO LIST button to add the selected students to the bulk list, in readiness to proceed with other bulk actions.
