TCSI Error Description

The Basis for Admission Code (E327) is not consistent with the combination of Level Left School (E612) and Year Left School (E572) for the Course of Study Commencement Date (E534).

Please check the Basis for Admission Code (E327), Level Left School (E612), Year Left School (E572) and the Course of Study Commencement Date (E534). Students who completed Year 12 in the three years before commencing their course of study should have at least one Basis for Admission (E327) of '41', '42' or '43', which relates to the student being a recent secondary school leaver.

Error Logic

If the Basis for Admission Code (E327) is not blank (null) for a Course Admission Resource Key (UID15), and the Level Left School (E612) is '12' and the Year Left School (E572) is not blank (null) for the linked Student Resource Key (UID8), and if the year of the Course of Study Commencement Date (E534) for the Course Admission Resource Key (UID15) minus the Year Left School (E572) is less than or equal to 3, then at least one value for the Basis for Admission Code (E327) should be '41', '42' or '43' for the Course Admission Resource Key (UID15).

If the student started before 2021, please select one of the retired codes as the Basis of Admission.

1. Make sure that the following fields in Paradigm are consistent or correct in relation to the error description and logic provided by the government above:

   • Basis for Admission Code (E327) - Paradigm Field Name: Student Admission Location: Student > Course Enrolment > Student TCSI Edit

   • Level Left School (E612) - Paradigm Field Name: Level left school Location: Student > Course Enrolment > Student TCSI Edit

   • Year Left School (E572) - Paradigm Field Name: Year Left School Location: Student > Course Enrolment > Student TCSI Edit

   • Course of Study Commencement Date (E534) - Paradigm Field Name: Start Date Location: Student > Course Enrolment > Course

2. If all the information in the fields mentioned above is correct and consistent with what is required by the government, resubmit the course enrolment record by editing and saving the course enrolment record in the system.

3. Create a new basis of admission record via the Student > Course Enrolment > Student TCSI Edit screen if necessary.
