Manage Course Progression Status

This page contains workflows on how you can record and manage the Course Progression Status

The Course Progression Status provides a quick way for staff to mark students who require staff intervention. If the students' course progression gets worse, they would be set to a higher progression level value, which would also "Suspend" the student's login account, with a message to contact student services. Sending a notification to student services would allow them to forward the students to academic progress staff to attempt and help the students when their grades are not what they should be for their requirements. Contact our Support Team if you want this feature implemented in your Paradigm site.

Note that the Progression Status field and the Progression Level field are used to record a similar piece of data in different ways. You may choose to use either field or both fields.
