This page will provide an overview on the basics of Report Builder

Overview

All data in Paradigm are stored in tables, and the collection of tables (organised and structured) is called a database. Report Builder allows you to extract data from the database and generate the required data for you to make a meaningful analysis.

Knowing what data or information to extract is the key to building a report. Report Builder is built on the Structured Query Language (SQL); however, you don’t need to write any SQL query to create reports. Report builder has a friendly user interface to help you create the reports.

You can start with understanding the basics if you are new to Report Builder before you start building your own:
