Add a Full Scholarship Payment to a Unit Enrolment

This page will provide you with instructions on how to add a full subsidy or scholarship payment to a Unit Enrolment record in Paradigm

Overview

If you are offering subsidies or scholarships in your business or institution, you can record or add a full subsidy or scholarship payment to a Unit Enrolment record in the system depending on where it is applicable.

Workflow

  1. Load the Student's Unit Enrolment record where you want to add the full subsidy or scholarship payment, see Edit a Unit Enrolment record.

  2. With the Unit Enrolment record loaded, go to the FINANCIAL INFORMATION section and update the following fields:

    • Select subsidy type from list - select the appropriate option on this field depending on the student’s eligible subsidy type. The Subsidy Type field on the left will be pre-filled depending on the subsidy type you choose. NOTE: The list under the fields (Subsidy Type and Select subsidy type from list) can be customised using the System > Edit Code Items menu with the Code Type Id of "SCHOLARSHIP_TYPE". Refer to the Edit Code Items page for more details.

    • Subsidy Amount - Copy the Unit Fee Amount to the Subsidy Amount field.

    • Payment Date - set the date when you add the full scholarship payment

  1. After entering the required information, click the SAVE UNIT ENROLMENT button to add the subsidy or scholarship details for this Student's Unit Enrolment record.
