Overview

The government will set out the reporting requirements for the Provider Information Request (PIR) for implementation each year. Always refer to the government website for any changes on the required fields. The complete list of the information required can be found here. Key Paradigm Notes for Annual PIR Reporting

Prior to commencing PIR report generation in Paradigm, it is critical to review and understand the important considerations we've outlined to ensure data accuracy. Please refer to the following links for the respective reporting year

Field Checking in Paradigm

Make sure that all the fields asked in the reporting requirements have been verified and checked in Paradigm before you proceed to the Workflows section below ready to download your data for submission. Refer to this page for their location in Paradigm.

Workflows

You have the following options for running the PIR reports in Paradigm:

  • Build a Report in Report Builder using the PIR Base Reports - This is recommended if you want to build the reports from scratch.

  • Load the Saved Report in Report Builder using the PIR Saved Reports - This is recommended if you check the latest PIR requirements and edit the report accordingly.

  • Generate the report via the Reports > TEQSA menus on the side, and run the PIR report sections - We recommend running the reports via this menu once we've confirmed that the reports have been edited to comply with the latest PIR requirements.
