Course Examiners

Overview

The Course Examiners or anyone who is tasked to review or examine the Student's progress or any experience or activities related to the Course Enrolment that needs to be examined can have their reports recorded in Paradigm against the Student's Course Enrolment record. A Course Examiner can be added or associated with a student record. Examiners can then complete the review report page with the required details which can be saved, printed and emailed.

Assign the Role of Examiner to a Contact

Refer to the Assign Roles to a Contact workflow and select the Examiner as an assigned role. The Contact or Staff member that you want to be associated with as an Examiner of a Student record should have that role in their record.

Associate the Examiner to the Student Record

  1. Load the Student record, see Search a Student record.

  2. With the Student record loaded, navigate to Student > Course Enrolment > Course menus on the side. Click the ACTIONS button and select Edit against the Course Enrolment record of the Student you want to add an Examiner.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page under the CONTACT SEARCH section. You can set the Contact Role to Examiner if you want to see all Contacts in the system that has the Examiner role and click the SEARCH ALL CONTACTS button.

  1. Click the Add Contact as Examiner icon next to the contact/staff member to be added as an Examiner.

SUCCESS:

The Contact has now been added to the Student's record as an Examiner. To check, go to the EXAMINERS section.

Add an Examiner Report

  1. Load the Student record, see Search a Student record.

  2. With the Student record loaded, navigate to Student > Course Enrolment > Course menus on the side. Click the ACTIONS button and select Edit against the Course Enrolment record of the Student - to add an Examiner Report.

  3. Go to the EXAMINERS section and click the ADD EXAMINER REPORT button against the name of the Examiner who is making the report.

  1. Click the ADD NEW REVIEW button under the EXAMINERS FOR COURSE section

  1. In the STUDENT REVIEW DETAILS section, enter the required data for the report. Refer to the Student Examiners Fields Record Type for the description of each field.

  2. Click the SAVE STUDENT REVIEW button to save your report.

SUCCESS:

The Examiner Report information is now saved and can be accessed under the PREVIOUS STUDENT REVIEWS section.

View | Edit | Delete | Print Examiner Reports

  1. To view, edit, delete and print the Student Course Enrolment examiner report, load the Student record, see Search a Student record and navigate to Student > Course Enrolment > Reviews menus on the side.

  2. Go to the PREVIOUS STUDENT REVIEWS section. Click the ACTIONS button and select your action accordingly.
