Public Permissions
The Public permission level for a user in Paradigm indicates the level of access they have, equivalent to what an unauthenticated user would see. This includes the login screens and the Online Application Portal registration screen.
Applicant Access
The Applicant access level in Paradigm is granted to prospective students who interact with Paradigm through the Online Application Portal.
Users with the Applicant permission level may have access to the following functions, depending on your processes:

Student Access Level
If you're using the Online Applicant Portal, users can transition from an Applicant access level to a Student. As Student users, they'll have mostly read-only access, but they'll be able to update their address details, register for units, generate a limited set of letter reports, and view other records that are made available to them by the Institution.

Reception Members Access
The Reception permission level has the lowest level of security access, providing almost exclusively read-only access to a limited set of student-related information.

Staff Members Access
When a new Contact login is created, the system assigns the default security group of Staff level access. This security group provides a moderate level of access to student information and records, allowing for basic edits and updates.
