Error: Cannot delete Scheduled Assessments as it still has associated results

Paradigm blocks the deletion of Scheduled Assessments that have associated results recorded. All the recorded results associated with the Scheduled Assessment must be deleted first before you can delete the Scheduled Assessment. That would mean loading each Student record who is enrolled on that Scheduled Unit and Assessment with recorded results and deleting each related assessment.

  1. In the Student Summary screen, go to the UNIT ENROLMENTS section.

  2. Click the ACTIONS button against the Scheduled Unit where the assessment item that you want to delete belongs. Select the Assessments option.

  1. Once the edit assessment results screen is loaded, click the DELETE or bin icon of the assessment item that you want to be deleted.

  1. Do the same for all the other students who were already enrolled on the Scheduled Unit.

  2. After deleting the assessment item(s) for all the students, you can then now edit the Scheduled Unit and delete the assessment item as intended.

NOTE:

Deleting Scheduled Assessments impacts other records in Paradigm if there are already Unit Enrolments and Results added. It is recommended to set the assessment status to Unconfirmed or Cancelled instead of permanently deleting it.
