Set the Course Progression Status

This page will provide you with instructions on how you can set a Course Progression Status value for a Student's Course Enrolment

Overview

To keep track of the Student's progress in their enrolled Course of Study in your business or institution, you have the option to set the Course Progression Status. The Course Enrolment progression status can help you to be more actively involved in your Students' study and enables you to take action as necessary.

Edit Course Progression Status Items

The Course Progression Status values can be configured to suit the naming convention in your system via the System > Edit Status Items menu. The Status Type Id that you need to search and edit is "PROGRESSION_STATUS". Refer to the instructions in the workflow Edit Status Items to edit and add progression status values.

Workflow

  1. Load the Student’s Summary page where you want to set a Course Progression Status, see Search a Student record.

  2. After loading the student’s record, go to the COURSE ENROLMENTS section and set the Progression Status column against the Course Enrolment record accordingly.

Alternatively, you can edit the Course Enrolment record and edit the field Progression Status.

  1. To set the Course Progression Level, proceed to the next workflow.

Alternatively, you can edit the Course Enrolment record and edit the fields for Progression Status, Progression Level and Progression Level Date Set.
