Create Requests for Finance

Within Paradigm, you can send requests to the Finance Team for specific processes you require, e.g. invoice a list of students, etc., facilitating direct communication and assignment to a group of contacts within your institution/finance team.

It's important to note that this functionality assumes the prior configuration of the Request for Finance category, see Request for Finance Configuration.

Workflow

Example 1: Add a New Request to Invoice a Student

  1. Load the Student record to be invoiced, see Search for a Student record.

  2. In the Student Summary screen, scroll down to the STUDENT REQUEST LIST section and click the NEW REQUEST button.

  1. Fill out the request fields. In the screenshot below, fields in RED are required.

  1. Click the SAVE CUSTOMER REQUEST button.

  2. After saving, go to the ADD CUSTOMER REQUEST ASSIGNMENT section and click the ADD ALL MANAGERS BY CATEGORY. Clicking this button will add all contacts with the specified role (in the configuration of the request for finance category) assigned to handle finances.

In the CUSTOMER REQUEST ASSIGNMENTS section, you'll find contacts with the assigned roles within the finance team to which your request will be directed.

  1. Navigate to the CUSTOMER REQUEST section above and click the SAVE CUSTOMER REQUEST button once more. This action will dispatch the request to the finance team, and the listed contacts will receive email notifications regarding the newly created request.
