An ONLINE session is not showing/missing in the Course Plan after I click the ENROL button

There are several factors why a scheduled unit session does not appear as one of the options when a student clicks the ENROL button for a scheduled unit. However, assuming that everything has been coded correctly and properly, this article will address the following scenarios:

  1. An ONLINE delivery method for a scheduled unit has been created successfully/correctly in Paradigm.

  2. You have multiple campuses and the Online session is offered by another institution.

  3. The sessions for that ONLINE delivery have been successfully imported from Rapla or manually created within Paradigm.

  4. The ONLINE session for that scheduled unit is showing as one of the options when staff will do the unit enrolment using the ADD UNITS VIA SCHEDULED UNIT SEARCH screen.

  1. The ONLINE session is not showing when using the Course Plan.

Answer:

The only reason why you cannot see the other option in the student’s Course Plan section, in this case, is because of its current Home Institution setting. That online class/session that you want to see is set to another Campus while the student’s course enrolment is set to another. The Course Plan is designed to display units/scheduled units/sessions that belong to the student’s course enrolment’s home institution.

The best way that you can enrol the student on that scheduled unit is via the Student > Course Enrolment > Units screen.
