This error occurs during Unit Enrolment.
Could not enrol student into unit no DEST Loan Fee available for this enrolment(enrolment failure). Either the Funding type is not set for the student or the DEST loan fee percentage is not set for this course.
Resolution
On the course edit screen, you need to edit the postgraduate and undergraduate loan fee percentages. You also need to ensure the course enrolment has a funding type set.
Load the Base Course record, see Edit a Base Course record
Edit the following fields accordingly:
TCSI Undergraduate Loan Fee (%)
Please ensure you regularly review the government website for updates on the Loan Fee Percentage. The Loan Fee Percentage, set at 25%, represents the additional fee charged by the government to undergraduate students utilising Fee-HELP loans. This fee amounts to an extra 25% of the unit charge. When entering this data, exclude the percentage symbol (e.g., enter 25.0).
TCSI Postgraduate Loan Fee (%)
For postgraduate students utilising Fee-HELP loans, there is no additional charge imposed by the government (0%). Please note, when entering this data, exclude the percentage symbol (e.g., enter 0.0).
After editing the fields above, click the SAVE COURSE button to save your changes.
Load the Course Enrolment record of the Student, see Load a Course Enrolment record. Check the Funding Type field - make sure it is set to the current Student's circumstance.
Click the SAVE COURSE ENROLMENT button.
Attempt to enrol the student into units again, if the issue persists, raise a support ticket.
