Add the same Fee for Multiple Courses to a Scheduled Unit

This page will provide you with instructions on how to add the same Scheduled Unit Fee to multiple courses

Overview

A Scheduled Unit that can be associated with multiple courses can also be added with a Unit Fee Amount the same for applicable Courses or Programs in one go in Paradigm. This is to increase the efficiency of data entry instead of adding the same amount for each Course or Program associated with the Scheduled Unit. The instructions below will guide you on how to add the same fee amount for each set of selected Courses or Programs.

Workflow

1. Search for the Scheduled Unit record where you want to add the same fee for selected multiple Courses or Programs, see Search a Scheduled Unit

2. With the Scheduled Unit record loaded, go to the ASSOCIATED FEES section and click the NEW FEES button.

3. Go to the ADD MULTIPLE FEES section, and select the Courses or Programs to which you want to apply the same Unit Fee Amount under the Course Id field. Use the Ctrl or Shift keys to select.

Enter the Unit Fee Amount of the Scheduled Unit in the selected Courses or Programs under the Fee field.

Refer to the Scheduled Fees Record Type for a description of each field and if you need to add more details or information on the Scheduled Unit fee under the selected Courses or Programs.

4. Click the ADD FEES button after entering the fee information.

5. Repeat the same steps to add a different Unit Fee Amount to another set of Courses or Programs.

6. Navigate to Units > Edit Scheduled menus on the side and click the SAVE SCHEDULED UNIT button to save the record.

SUCCESS:

After adding the applicable Unit Fee Amount to the selected Courses or Programs, you should now see under the ASSOCIATED FEES section of the Scheduled Unit record the added fees.

When a Student enrols in the Scheduled Unit, the system will check the enrolled Course or Program of the Student and apply the Unit Fee Amount accordingly.
