List of Operational Reports
The following are just some of the available operational reports that you can generate in Paradigm. The reports are listed under each category/section under the Reports menu:
Provider Reports
STUDENT AFFILIATION/ENROLMENT
Description - Produces list(s) of students and current units by their affiliation (usually Institution).
How to run - Select the degree course and/or provider and/or the unit start and end dates to produce the required report. NOTE: by not selecting a course and/or providers all possible combinations will be reported. Course start date refers to when a student commenced their current award, not current units.
Output format - PDF
CLASS LIST
Description - This report shows a list of students enrolled in a Unit with their marks achieved for each assessment and their grade results.
How to run - There are two ways you can print a class list: (1) by searching for the Scheduled Unit under the SCHEDULED UNIT SEARCH section, and (2) by specifying the required details under the REPORT CLASS LIST section. To report a particular class list, enter the unit code. NOTE: by not selecting a course and/or provider all possible class lists will be reported.
Output formats - PDF, Spreadsheet, XML, HTML, XLS
STUDENT BY DEGREE
Description - This report shows which students are enrolled on which course.
How to run - You can specify the Course/Degree, Institution, Course Start and End Date, and Course Enrolment Statuses when generating the report.
Output format - PDF
EMAIL LISTS BY DEGREES
Description - This report allows you to retrieve student emails by Course/Degree.
How to run - You can specify the Course/Degree, Institution, Course Start and End Date, and Course Enrolment Statuses when generating the report. You also have the option to only include students who have email addresses recorded in the system.
Output formats - can be generated in PDF, spreadsheet, XML, HTML, or XLS.
CURRENT ENROLMENT SUMMARY
Description - This report creates a Current Enrolment Summary for the students specified.
How to run - Please be sure to enter a date for current unit enrolments to be matched against. To produce a current enrolment summary report for a particular student, enter the Student Number, current Unit Enrolment Date, Course/Degree, Institution, and the Unit Enrolment Statuses to include in the report.
Output format - PDF
SCHEDULED UNITS LISTING
Description - Produces a report listing scheduled units.
How to run - To generate this report, you can specify the Institution, Scheduled Units Start and End Dates, and the Scheduled Unit Status.
Output formats - can be generated in XLS, PDF, and HTML.
UNIT HANDBOOK
Description - Produces a report giving a detailed listing of units. The details would include the Unit Code, Unit Name, Unit Category - Field - Discipline, Provider, Location, Teacher, Delivery Mode, and Start and End Dates.
How to run - To produce the report, specify the Institution, Unit Start and End Dates, and the Scheduled Unit record status.
Output formats - can be generated in PDF, CSV, XLS, RTF, and HTML.
UNIT LISTING REPORT
Description - Produces a report giving a detailed listing of units. The details would include the Unit's Category - Focus - Discipline, Provider, Credit Point Statement, Unit Description, Prerequisites, Corequisites, Learning Outcomes, Requirements, Assessment, Bibliography, Keywords, Method of Delivery, and Unit Status.
How to run - To produce this report, you can specify the following: Institution, Unit Status, Unit Category - Focus - Discipline.
Output format - can be generated in HTML format.
SESSION LISTING
Description - This report shows a list of sessions and the associated details of a Scheduled Unit. The report would include the session's start date, start and end time, the day, teacher, building room, session class, session type, the number of minimum and maximum allowable participants per session, and the number of currently enrolled students.
How to run - To produce this report, search for the Scheduled Unit and click the VIEW CLASSES button.
Output format - HTML
UNIT ASSESSMENT RESULTS
Description - Create a report of student assessment results for a particular class enrolled in a Scheduled Unit. The report would include the type of assessments associated with the Scheduled Unit and each weighting, a list of students with their results, the unit grade awarded, and a separate page to summarise the unit grades awarded.
How to run - To run this report, you need to search for the Scheduled Unit first and then choose between these three types of assessment results to produce:
Print Assessment Results Entry Mode - initial data entry result
Print Assessment Results Review Mode - shows amended grades
Print Assessment Results Publish Mode - shows the published grades

SCHEDULED UNIT RESULTS SUMMARY
Description - This report produces a student unit results in summary data per Scheduled Unit. The summary would include a list of Scheduled Units with their enrolment count, credit points, and EFTSL. The total unit fee income considering the Upfront, Fee-Help, and Scholarship funding type against the enrolment count. The grades statistics are also included.
How to run - You can specify the Unit Institution, Unit Start and End Dates, Unit Enrolment Status, Course/Degree

STAFF ID CARD
Description - This will print the Staff ID Card
How to run - make sure that you have already raised a ticket for this to customise your card and that we have approved and given the confirmation that this report section is ready to use. Once ready, you can specify the party ID and the card expiry date.

Student Reports
STUDENT ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT
Description - This report is able to produce an academic transcript for a student.
How to run - You need to specify the following when generating this report: Student Internal Paradigm ID, Student Number, Program Enrolment Id, Course/Degree, Institution, Course Enrolment Status, Course Enrolment Start and End Dates, Unit Enrolment Status, Person Name and Position - these fields are used to override a name and position specified in the report that has already been configured, Report Date, Graduation Dates From and To. You can also create a single communication event if you access this report via the Report > Provider menu.
NOTE:
Ensure that grades are published for the transcript to correctly print the Unit Enrolment Credit Points and GPA.

STUDENT ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT AHEGS
Description - This report is able to produce an AHEGS transcript for a student.
How to run - Specify the Student Internal Paradigm ID, Student Number, and Program Enrolment ID to run the report. You can also create a single communication event if you access this report via the Report > Provider menu.
Output formats - PDF, RTF
STUDENT VOCATIONAL TRANSCRIPT
Description - This report is able to produce a vocational education transcript for a student, listing the competencies attempted and gained for their enrolment in a course.
How to run - You need to specify the following to generate this report: Student Number, Course/Degree, Institution, Course Start and End Dates, Course Enrolment Status, Unit Start and End Dates, Unit Enrolment Status, Staff Name and Position - these fields are used to override a name and position specified in the report that has already been configured, and an Issue Batch Number
Output format - PDF
AUSTRALIAN HIGHER EDUCATION GRADUATION STATEMENT
Description - This report is able to produce an Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement for a student.
How to run - You need to specify the following to generate this report: Course Enrolment Id, Student Number, Course/Degree, Institution, Graduation Status, Graduand (Yes/No), Graduation Date From and To, and the Issue Date
Output format - PDF
STUDENT ACADEMIC TESTAMUR
Description - This report creates an Academic Testamur for specified student and course enrolment. Testamurs can only be printed if the student has COMPLETED the course with the provider specified.
How to run - Please be sure to enter a provider/institution, course and student number, and graduation date. Testamurs can only be printed if the student has COMPLETED the course with the provider specified.
NOTE:
Ensure that the Ceremony Date in the Graduation screen is set for the Testamur to be printed out with the expected details.

STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT
Description - This report creates a Statement of Attainment for specified student and course enrolment.
How to run - Please be sure to enter a provider/institution, course and student number. A Statement of Attainment can only be printed if the student is in a VET course and has NOT COMPLETED it.

STUDENT ID CARD
Description - This report is able to produce a student card that is customised according to your business or institution's specifications. Raise a ticket with a sample image of your student's ID card and the necessary logos or images you want to add.
How to run - To print a student ID card, you need to specify the following: Student Number, Card Expiry Date, Course/Degree, Institution, Course Start Date, and Course Enrolment Status.

STUDENT ENROLMENT SUMMARY
Description - This report is able to produce an enrolment summary for a student.
How to run - To generate this report, you can specify the following: Student Number, Course/Degree, Institution, Course Start and End Dates, Course Enrolment Status, Units Start and End Dates, and Unit Enrolment Status. You also have the option to show unpublished information on the enrolment summary.
Output format - PDF
STUDENT PAYMENT ADVICE
Description - Creates a Payment Advice & Enrolment Status form for selected student(s). NOTE: All students enrolled and/or confirmed in a scheduled unit for the selected calendar year will be reported. (If specific criteria are required, select by category.)
How to run - Enter the Student Number, Course/Degree, Institution, Course Start and End Date, Course Enrolment Status, Unit Enrolment Status, and Unit Start and End Dates to produce the report

ADVISOR REPORT
Description - This report is able to produce advisor reports for printing.
How to run - Specify the Course/Degree, and the Course Start and End Dates to print the report

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION RESEARCH
Description - Produces a report listing students requesting admission to research courses.
How to run - The following are required to run this report: Course/Degree, Institution, Acceptance Status, Course Enrolment Status, and Acceptance Date
Output format - PDF
APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION COURSEWORK
Description - Produces a report listing students requesting admission to coursework courses.
How to run - The following are required to run this report: Course/Degree, Institution, Acceptance Status, Course Enrolment Status, and Acceptance Date
Output format - PDF
SESSION ATTENDING LISTING REPORT
Description - Produces a class list of students and associated sessions. This is being used as a roll for taking attendance in class.
How to run - You can search the Scheduled Unit that you want to get the listing of enrolled students with the following criteria: Unit Id, Unit Name, Unit Provider, Unit Keywords, Start and End Dates, Session Start and End Date, and Unit Enrolment Status. Once you have found the Scheduled Unit, just click on the button to View/Edit Classes.

REPORT STUDENT LOAD
Description - This report produces a list of students and associated unit enrolment numbers with loads.
How to run - This report is used to show the load of students given certain dates. This report requires numerous values the first being the date to report up to and the second to include the date to report from when students enrolled.

CREATE CAMPUS DIRECTORY - STUDENT CONTACT DETAILS
Description - This report is able to produce a list of students and which Institution is their home Institution or main affiliation.
How to run - Select the course and/or provider and/or the course start and end dates to produce the required report. By not selecting a course and/or provider the report will print a separate page for each combination of course and provider.
NOTE: Course start date refers to when a student commenced their current award, not current units.

NOTIFICATION OF RESULTS
Description - This report is able to produce a notification of results for a student.
How to run - Specify the Student Number, Course/Degree, Institution, Course Start and End Dates, Course Enrolment Status, Unit Start and End Date, Unit Enrolment Status, and Staff Name and Position if you want to override the default name and position set in the report
Output format - PDF
CONFIRMATION OF ENROLMENT
Description - This report produces a Confirmation of Enrolment for a student.
How to run - The following are the required parameters to produce this report: Student Number, Course/Degree, Institution, Course Start and End Dates, Course Enrolment Status, Name and Position if you want to override the default name and position set in the report, and an option to show the signature
Output format - PDF
STUDENT UNITS BY SPECIALISATION
Description - This report produces a list of students and their contact details grouped by their study specialisation.
How to run - Enter the Scheduled Unit Code, Course/Degree, Institution, Course Start and End Dates, Course Enrolment Status, Unit Start and End Dates, Unit Enrolment Status
Output format - PDF, XLS
OFFER LETTER
Description - This report creates a course offer letter for a particular course.
How to run - Specify the Student Party Id, Student Number, Course Enrolment Id, Course/Degree, Course Institution, Course Start Date on or after OR on or before - if set, looks for a course enrolment start date that occurs within the date range specified, Course Enrolment Status, Alternate Course Start and End Dates - if set, will work as an override such as when the Course Enrolment Start Date has to begin on the same date as a define term period record but the student doesn't actually start studying until a certain period of time. This report can also be emailed to a student when accessed directly under the Reports menu.

CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION
Description - This report prints a Certificate of Participation for students
How to run - To generate this report, the Student Number, Course, and letter date should be specified. This report can also be sent as an attachment to a communication event

LEAVE OF ABSENCE OR DEFERRAL LETTER REPORT
Description - This report is run from the student program enrolment absence screen
How to run - To run this report, make sure that the student is loaded in the system, set the Course/Degree, Course Enrolment Status, Letter Date

STUDENT TAX INVOICE
Description - This report creates Tax Invoices / Enrolment Notices for the students specified. Please be sure to enter a start date or all subjects will be listed.
How to run - Specify the Student Number, Course/Degree, Institution, Unit Enrolment Status, and Unit Enrolment Start and End Dates to run the report. This report can also be sent as an attachment to a communication event

STUDENT TIMETABLE
Description - This report produces a timetable for a student
How to run - The following are required to run this report: Student Number, Program Enrolment Id, Course Enrolment Status, Course Enrolment Start and End Dates, Unit Enrolment Status, and Unit Enrolment Start and End Dates. This report can also be sent as an attachment to a communication event
Output format - PDF, RTF
STUDENT TRAINING PLAN
Description - This is the training plan for a student course enrolment
How to run - Specify the Student Number, Course, and Course Enrolment Start Date to run this report. This report can also be sent as an attachment to a communication event

Financial Reports
STUDENT UNIT SUMMARY (FINANCIAL)
Description - This report creates a list of students and financial information about the units they are associated with.
How to run - Select the Course/Degree, Institution, Course Enrolment Status, Unit Institution, Course and Unit Enrolment Start and End Dates range, Unit Enrolment Status, Census Date, Invoice Fee Code (if applicable), Fee Type, Funding Type, Agent - Fee Payee (if applicable), Invoice Batch Number, and set the option Yes/No to only show summary

STUDENT SUNDRY INVOICE SUMMARY
Description - This report creates a listing and summary of all student invoices for the period specified.
How to run - Set the Invoice Type, Invoice Status, Institution, and Period Start and End Dates

STUDENT PAYMENT SUMMARY
Description - This report creates a list of student payment receipts and refunds.
How to run - Set the Institution, earliest and latest payment dates, earliest and latest created date, payment status, created by user login, and reconcile Id

COMMONWEALTH ASSISTANCE NOTICE
Description - This report creates Commonwealth Assistance Notices for the students specified. Please be sure to enter a census date or all subjects using FEE-HELP will be listed.
How to run - Enter the Student Number, Census Date, Course/Degree, Institution, and Unit Enrolment Status. If you want to override the default set Census Dates, set the start date of the earliest unit enrolment, and the end date of that latest unit enrolment or the Course Enrolment Start and End Dates of the Student. These dates will include all units.

STATEMENT OF FEES
Description - This report creates Tax Invoices / Enrolment Notices for the students specified. Please be sure to enter a start date or all subjects will be listed.
