Your applicant has been successful in making an application and youβve sent them the course offer letter. The applicant must now review the study offer, and either reject or accept the terms. If the applicant accepts the terms, they will be given access to the Student Portal where they can proceed to enrol into the units of the scheduled course. The applicant will now officially be considered as a Student and the Course Enrolment Status will now be set to ENROLLED.

Step-by-step guide on accepting an offer:
The applicant will receive the Course Offer Letter from your institution (see sample email received below).
NOTE:
The email template mentioned below is one of the configurable email templates of the Provider [EMAIL_CRS_OFFER] and is called the Course Enrolment Offer Notification, see Customising Email Templates configuration article for more details.
The applicant will log in to the Online Applicant Portal and will need to click the REVIEW STUDY OFFER button.
Course Details are shown on the screen, followed by the Terms and Conditions of the Enrolment. If the applicant agrees to those terms, they need to click the ACCEPT TERMS button.
NOTE:
The text of the TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT section is customisable, see the Customising the Application Form configuration page for more details on how to change the content. The label id is applicant_termsAndConditions
.
NOTE:
If the applicant rejects the offer, an email will be sent to the applicant and to your course home institution confirming the applicant's rejection of the course offer. This is irreversible for the applicant. If the student reconsiders their rejection and needs to accept the offer, they will need to contact your institution and ask your authorised staff member to change the course enrolment status from "Offer Rejected" to "OFFERED", as the applicant's course enrolment record is marked as blocked from any further action by the applicant.
After accepting the terms and conditions, the applicant will now be issued with the STUDENT LOGIN DETAILS or the login credentials to be used when logging in to the STUDENT PORTAL.
By accepting the terms of the course offer, the following happens:
The applicant and course home institution will be sent an email confirming the applicant's acceptance of the course offer.
Paradigm creates a student login for the applicant and part of the email contains the login credentials.
Paradigm presents the user with their student login details, and the applicant record will be updated to reflect the applicant's new Student record status as Active and the Course Enrolment status as Enrolled.
BREAKING CHANGE:
Effective July 2024, a new change has been implemented: after an applicant accepts the course offer, the Course Enrolment status will now be set to 'Enrolment Accepted
' instead of 'Enrolled
.' The applicant must log in as a student and confirm their details for the status to change to 'Enrolled
.
The provider can decide if they want their students to be immediately able to enrol in units via the course plan, and can turn on a button (make the form field visible) that will enable the student to continue to the student portal. If the user is already a student, they will be automatically redirected to the course plan screen if the provider has configured the ability for students to immediately enrol in units via the course plan.
