Issuing Credit Notes

This page contains instructions on how to issue credit notes

Overview

For cases when you need to issue credit notes to your customer (Student, Agent), you can do so by loading the original invoice that has been created and paid off and then following the instructions in this article.

NOTE:

The terms 'Credit Note' and 'Customer Return' are used interchangeably. A customer return is an invoice that has the invoice type of 'Customer Return'.

A credit note invoice does not need to have the exact amount of the original invoice. For instance, the provider may have a policy where refunds have a 10% deduction from the total of the invoice as a penalty or admin overhead fee.
