Download the template provided below for bulk importing Unit Enrolment Final Grades data.

When deciding which academic fields to include in your template, consider the following:

  • Including only the Grade Description value means that grades are accessible only to individuals with administrator-level permissions.

  • Including both the Grade Description and Published Grade values allow students with portal access to view their grades.

  • By setting the Grade Release Date, you can control when the published grades will become viewable to students in their portal.

  • You also have the option to finalise the Unit Enrolment Status when updating grades.

Using the Template and Importing Guide

  1. Fill out the template accordingly.

  2. It is also recommended that you read the Entering Results knowledge base to understand how this data sits in Paradigm.

  3. After you have completed filling out the template, it is important to note that the file MUST be converted into a CSV file [CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv) format] first before you can proceed to import the data.

  4. If you are not familiar with the Import Wizard menu yet, it is recommended that you read through our knowledge base page on Import Wizard.

  5. When doing the import, the Object to choose should be the UnitEnrolment.

NOTE:

The Sample Data headings are designed to be the same as the Paradigm Field data column headings. Map them accordingly. Only map the intended Unit Enrolment Academic fields: e.g.grade_description and the pubished_grade.

  1. In the EXISTING RECORD SEARCH section of the Import Wizard, set the following conditions:

    • enrolled_party_id - the students' Internal Paradigm ID

    • edu_program_enrolment_id - the students' Course Enrolment ID generated upon enrolment to the Course

    • edu_scheduled_unit_id - the Scheduled Unit ID generated upon creating the Scheduled Unit where you want to enrol the students

  1. Set the "how do you want to handle matching records in Paradigm?" to Only Update Records.
